Joe Virgilio- Agency Owner

I've officially been working in travel since 1986. Traveling allows me to connect with people. Whether it's sitting in a cafe and finding a way to talk with locals or walking through outdoor markets while enjoying the food, travel opens my eyes to different cultures and backgrounds. Travel has helped me discover that everyone has the same dreams for themselves and their loved ones. 

My specialty is river cruising. It's the best! You unpack once, wake up to a new destination, slow things down, and find a cafe to enjoy. The more I travel, the more I'm able to assist with clients' plans. There are many ways to experience travel, it just depends on where you are in life. If find that going with a group is very enjoyable for me and my clients. With age, my favorite travel experiences have changed and they should. I can say that all of my experiences have been rewarding.

I've always loved researching new places and regions to explore. 3 years ago, I started working with Travel Center and turned my hobby into a career. I am very passionate about connecting with clients and planning experiences that will create lifetime memories. 

I specialize in multi-generational family travel, all-inclusive vacations, and cruises. As a travel agent, we provide more than just planning. We provide support through personal experiences, contatcts with industry representatives, and we care that we book the right property or tour for you. 

One of my most memorable travel experiences was in Vancouver, BC with my family. We took an adventure to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The bridges take you from tree to tree with some being as high up as 110 feet! It gives you a whole new perspective on the forest and is something I will never forget.

One of my most amazing travel experiences was in Alaska. I had taken a group of 26 people and we were on a whale watching excursion in Juneau. We came upon a pod of whales that were feeding and breaching. The guide said it was most unusual to see and we were very lucky. It is something we all will never forget.

When I first decided to become a travel agent, I first went to travel school. I have only worked in the travel business with Travel Center Inc. for the past 35 years.I had the best mentor, she made me the agent I am today.
My job is one of the most rewarding jobs I could have. My clients are all awesome and I love working with them. 
I can sell all trips from cruises, tours, and land packages all over the world. 
I have had many travel experiences. Three of my favorites were Sandals St. Lucia, Uniworld Venice, and cruising all over the caribbean.

2022 will mark my 30th anniversary in the travel business with Travel Center Inc. I love selling travel and advising clients in finding just the right vacation for their needs. 

I have travelled most of the world so I can usually advise from first hand knowledge. If I am unfamiliar with a destination, I will be sure to get the most up to date info available, especially at this time in our world. I specialize in all aspects of travel: cruises, land packages, tours, and generational travel. I find myself now advising the children of my clients. 

I have travelled extensively and some of my most memorable experiences were climbing the Great Wall of China, looking over Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower, and visiting the amazing Yellowstone National Park.

As the newest member of the Travel Center Inc. team, I am fortunate to be surrounded by over 100 years of combined experience through my dedicated and expert colleagues.  With almost 20 years of experience in the Technology and Marketing fields of the Travel Industry, I'm excited to be on the other side working directly with clients in making their dream adventures come true!  Being raised on Oahu, Hawaii,  I can give you a unique and exclusive outlook on your trip to the islands.
